I don’t know about you but getting and living this grace stuff with God is difficult when at the same time I live a quid pro quo kind of life everywhere else.

Let me explain: I’m coaching basketball now and if a player doesn’t make it to the practice before a game, if he is a starter, he won’t start the next game.

Does Grace Protect You?

The title, wow! What do you think of that question?

I saw it the other day on a blog I was reading. 

I  heard about every answer imaginable and now I want to take a crack at it.  Wish me luck!

Here is how it usually begins:

Someone gets into an car accident or the like, I mean a really bad one and they walk away from it without a scratch. Then they say that during the accident they just called on the name of Jesus.

Grace Is Risky

Read Romans 6:1-4

What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means!  Rom 6:1–2a

Hi Friends,

Did you know that some Christians are afraid to really embrace grace? They object because they think that people will just go ahead and sin like crazy. And maybe some will and do, and you even know them...by name!

That’s a risk of grace even Paul had to address.

But if my message doesn’t lead to the possibility of grace being misunderstood like this, then I’m probably not preaching grace.
